Do the 5 subjects you want in 11th and 12th not fit in a specific stream? Do you maybe want Physics, Psychology, Math, English and History? Or something even funkier?
This petition was made so that if you want to drop any subject, be it chemistry, physics, accounts or BSt, and take other subjects which don’t ‘fit’ with your stream or is an ‘unusual’ combination, you can do it.
We want the schools to change the stream system, which prevails in CBSE based schools.
CBSE itself has a provision which states students can make their own combinations yet schools follow the stream system.
We need numbers, so that we can get a holistic learning experience and carve out our own path.
We shouldn’t have to waste two years of our life, learning subjects which won’t help us in the future.
We can do this. No one except us should be able to define our life and choices. We are our own selves and our subject combinations should be able to express our individualities.
