Force Boris Johnson to have a sign language interpreter when he makes an announcement

The Issue

Boris Johnson has consistently excluded Deaf British Sign Language (BSL) users from his announcements by not including BSL interpreters.  Nicola Sturgeon showed that it can be done so there is no excuse for the Prime Minister not to do so. At this time of crisis, everyone has to be included, it is not good enough to assume that Deaf BSL users will have access in another way because many do not hear TV, radio and many struggle with written English. We are part of society, we pay taxes, and we also have a human right to access the same information as everyone else.

If we do not change this behaviour, it will make it harder for us to gain access on the same level as everyone else to all aspects of public services.  Please support this petition and tell the Prime Minister that he must not exclude one of the most vulnerable sections of the country.
