Stop making Fergusson a battle ground for cheap politics.
Stop making Fergusson a battle ground for cheap politics.
The Issue
Since last three years, Fergusson College has been epi-center of political protests led by political and caste-based student organisations. Common students are fed up of these activities, which disturb the academic environment of the campus.
I want to ask a few questions to these political activists.
1. Will political students organisations really work on students issues or just find ways for their own publicity ?
2. Have they consulted the larger student community for their views on such issues?
3. Why are outsiders present in such protests in a large number in our campus?
For years Savitribai Phule struggled for women's education, because of which we are able to enter college today.
For years Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar struggled for equality, because of which my brothers and sisters from unprivileged sections are able to attend college today.
By attending college, we do not wish to follow an ideology, but be defenders of constitution that we read and understand in our campus each day. Please allow us to complete our dreams!
Let's speak on hostel issues
Let's speak on sanitation
Let's speak on challenges faced by blind students.
Let's speak on student issues.
Let's work together on social issues.
If u agree, join the movement.
