Majority of dogs comes from "mills" which are the leading cause of animal cruelty
We have shelters and registered breeders to buy a family pet from. buying a dog from a pet store encourages puppy mills to keep overbreeding and abusing dogs. Puppy mill dogs live in inhumane conditions.
I believe if other cities did it we can do it too for our animals sake.
