I know what you’re thinking. “Sexist Pig!” “Woman-hater!” “Patriarchy-supporting monster!” That isn’t the case here, I’m not like that. However, there is someone like that, and her name is Brie Larson, the “actress” playing Captain Marvel in the upcoming Marvel film of the same name.

Larson has a vendetta against men, especially white men. This is sexism. This is racism. This isn’t right. I don’t want to support Captain Marvel because of this, Marvel shouldn’t be rewarded for giving a bigot an outlet for her poisonous views. Marvel has wronged its audience too many times before, James Gunn being ousted over jokes he made years ago; the cancellation of the excellent Marvel shows on Netflix, which now has affected The Punisher and one of my personal favorite shows, Jessica Jones; and now this. These racist and sexist actions and words all in the name of Social Justice and Feminism, it’s a disgrace to both groups.

I will not stand for this, so instead of paying my hard earned cash for a ticket to Captain Marvel, I’m going to find their competitors. I’m going to see Shazam!, DC’s upcoming superhero blockbuster, as much as I possibly can. It won’t do much, but it’s the principle of the thing. It would help if others joined me. So I ask you, dear reader, to take a stand with me against this blatant sexism and racism and see something else aside from Captain Marvel.
