As a mother of two daughters , it pains  when I   hear that some  woman , girl or   girl baby is subjected to physical and mental harassment , sometimes in a gory manner , in the neighbourhood or anywhere in the world.

On  March 8th, a day dedicated to Women, Organisations including Shops,Hotels, Offices come up with creative ways to make women feel good with discounts, free lunches, movie screenings etc. 

As a mother, it is my humble request  to each man to make a promise to himself as below

I will treat women irrespective of age, role in the society and family with respect and dignity. I will not engage in any abuse or harrassment -physical or mental.

Signing the petition and forwarding only means you care and  are not a potential abuser. You will agree.

A conscience check serves better than a police check !!
