We're over a thousand signatures now, thanks to all of you who signed, shared, donated! Please allow me to thank each of you personally before Christmas for caring about those who will remain separated from their own beloved elder for still another holiday. 

Thank you so much for continuing to share this petition--even getting one more friend or family member to sign could make more of a difference than you know when it comes time to take this petition to state legislators. For, that's the next step. 

I will be trying to make change in Illinois. And I'd be happy in 2022 to help anyone who wants to bring this petition to the attention of legislators and bar groups in their own state to try to make change there. Thank you, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year!
