As a student of class of 2020 , I am proposing this petition for ALL SCHOOLS to still guarantee seniors a graduation ceremony . COVID-19 has had a huge impact on everyone but especially our class of 2020 seniors . Receiving our diploma in the mail is not the same feeling as actually having a ceremony to celebrate for all the hard work we have put in for the last 13 years as students . We do understand that social distancing is what’s best for everyone’s health but, a graduation ceremony should still be held for class of 2020 even if it is postponed. Walking the stage is a stamp that validates our journey.  Not allowing seniors to do so will not be a good introduction to our adult lives.
