Most people who play video games hate the pay to win and/or pay to have fun factor incorporated in many games. Many apps and other games have pay to win, please sign this petition to remove pay to win once and for all.

Scam

One reason pay to win should be removed, is that they could be a complete scam. Buying randomized items could leave you with nothing you wanted. Recently, I spent $20 worth of randomized packs in Call of Duty Black Ops 3 to get new items and got nothing I wanted. I was left with my money wasted.

Game Play

A game with pay to win is a game that has something in game you can buy that would make you better than people without it. For people who just play for fun, and people not willing to spend ridiculous amounts of money on a video game, this is bad news. Very similar to pay to win, there is also pay to have fun. Pay to have fun is to pay for an item that has no major benefits, but is fun to use. For example, in Call of Duty Black Ops 3, you can pay for a chance to get a purely cosmetic item that is fun to use, but is exactly the same as the combat knife. If they just give you the weapon right away, the game would be more fun than having to pay for the weapon.

Too Much Money

Another reason that pay to win should be removed, is that people spend too much money on games. In one app, an in app purchase of $66,070.25 for a single item is possible in a game called “What’s Inside the Cube?” Also, children can spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars on a game without the knowledge of their parents.

Nobody likes pay to win or pay to have fun. It makes the casual player, who doesn’t want to spend money on a game they already paid for not enjoy what they are playing. Please sign this petition if you want games to remove pay to win or pay to have fun.
