Palm oil is an ingredient  found in many foods, including chocolate and biscuits also shampoo and toothpaste. Everyday products that fill our supermarkets.  

Indonesia’s forests have been bulldozed, replaced with hectares upon hectares of plantations of palm oil trees.

The companies involved are responsible for driving out many species including Orangutans .  The species are being pushed to the brink of extinction as their habitat is being destroyed.  Through deforestation this is having an major effect on climate change too.

I strongly believe that all products that contain palm oil should have a palm tree printed on the front for easy viewing.  This will enable "us" the buyer to make a choice whether we decide to support this, or buoycot it individually.
