We are in a hot time for change, so let’s push the envelope. Let’s work toward stopping all forms of cruelty, and make it illegal to test on animals. Does the reality of this not make your heart hurt? These animals are harmed, tortured and abused, and intensely suffering, literally to death. 

Just one very disturbing example of hundreds, are animals used to study the long term affects of methamphetamine use, often monkeys. They are continuously injected with meth(and also taught to smoke it) up to multiple times a day over long periods of time, with their doses increasing as they go. In humans, this leads to extreme anxiety, aggression, insanity, and schizophrenic behaviors, even self harm. And in a cage nonetheless. (Or what about the chronic heroin using rats that are then given cocaine.)

Could you imagine if you were forcefully and continuously injected with speed and locked up in a cage? In what world is this actually okay? I don't want it to be the one that i live in, do you? Do you want to be held down and forced against your will to do anything? Especially having foreign and unknown things put INSIDE your body while you are trapped and helpless? Is this not every person's worst nightmare? Where is our compassion? If we saw with our own eyes what was happening behind closed doors while we were sitting there drinking our coffee, we would probably freak out. We can no longer sweep this under the rug and ignore it, thereby making it acceptable.

We are living in a time where there's a chance to step forward and be a part of big changes. So let us help change this, and let’s do it now. This is a very urgent matter, and it has been for a very very long time. Make it known that you do not in any way condone or stand behind the absolute inhumane suffering of innocent animals.

Can you compassionately help to be a part of this change, and put an end to the unjust, unethical, and immoral torturing of these helpless beings? Let us not be silent. Please help by sending a small ripple into a big pond with your much needed signature on this petition.
