High court of Karnataka has granted permission for construction of new 7 storeyed building in premises of cubbon park by razing down the old heritage structure.

Cubbon park has shrunk from 300 acres to 200 acres now and further more with this new construction - this will burden the ecosystem of park disturbing lives of animals and birds.
