justice for Bullet Mandatory minimum 2 1/2 $5000.00 fine
The Issue
We want no less than minimum mandatory plus time to be served in a animal rescue helping animals (supervised of course).
A Medford man has been arraigned on three counts of animal cruelty following a complaint from a neighbor.
Ryan Baker, 31, of Medford, was arraigned last week in Somerville District Court on charges of animal cruelty (3 counts).
“Evidence against this defendant includes videotaped images,” said Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan. “Someone who lives on Baker’s street says he has witnessed animal abuse for several months and that he took video of this defendant kicking a dog in the head, punching the dog in the stomach, and picking the animal up by its neck and throwing the dog into the air.
Judge Paul Yee has set bail at $1,000 cash with conditions to include that Baker have no contact with the individual who has alleged he has been seen abusing a dog and that Baker have no contact with animals or pets during the time this case remains open.
