It has been brought to our attention that the Hudson Bay Company has begun to sell "Make Canada Great Again" Hats. This petition is to highlight the sale of these hats and respectfully ask the HBC immediately cease supporting this hateful message through the sale of these products, AND any products that share a similar message. 

We have clearly seen the impact of the "Make America Great Again" message in the United States and we do not support the spread of hate, racism, sexism in our wonderful country. It is obvious from looking back over the last few years that these messages can lead to the detrimental breakdown of basic decency and respect in our society, and as Canadians, it is our responsibility to recognize this and stand against it. 

The HBC is Canada's oldest company. As a company with such a longstanding history intertwined with the development of our society, they should be representing the best that Canada can be.
