Next vote - Monday!

Hi all!

A big thanks again for signing and sharing this petition. We now have over 1400 signatures - such a huge result! Thank you!

Next Monday the Alice Springs Town Council will vote on whether to declare a climate emergency at their ordinary meeting. After much discussion at last weeks' meeting, the vote was rescheduled to this coming Monday 30 September from 6pm.

Feel free to join us there if you can, to call on our council to join over 50 other councils who have already declared a climate emergency and taken the kinds of actions needed to address the climate crisis.
