Everyone who lives in Algeria complains about the high prices and poor service that Algerie Telecom offers us.
It is the only company that provides internet service in Algeria, so it uses that to raise prices and nobody will complain. Since it was the only option we had, we tried to boycott its services several times, but that didn't work.

Our problem with it is its high prices and poor service, which do not match the average person. All we want is new internet provider who can provide best service to consumers.   

This is a short explanation of what is happening.

    Average daily per capita income in Algeria is  $7,534 in 2018. This means that in a month the Algerian individual earns about $226 and this is never enough for a family of more than 3 individuals.

    The minimum internet speed in Algeria is 2Mbps, and its price is around 21$ a month. If we add the required phone subscription fee that must be paid upon subscription, that will be about  27$ a month. This is an option for more than 80% of internet users in Algeria. Plus it is very slow. The download speed is 1.60 Mbps, and the upload speed is 0.59 Mbps.Which means that you can't watch 720p video without interruption.

The maximum Internet speed her has 20 Mbps, which is an option that no one chooses. Because it costs about  70$ a month.

     In the end, everyone just wants to change this fake poor Internet service that is only care about money. We are here today to stop this servitude that lasted for more than 20 years.
