Alex Watkins, the Organised Play Manager for Europe at Asmodee (publisher of Fantasy Flight Games products and board games), is organising the upcoming European Championships at the UK Games Expo in June 2017.

One key part of this prestigious event are the premier tournaments for the most popular miniature, card and boardgames currently being played across the country. This includes games such as Netrunner, Star Wars: X-Wing Miniatures, Game of Thrones: The Card Game.

Unfortunately, due to some kind of mistake, the most desirable and widely anticipated event has been cancelled from this lineup. Yes, I'm talking about the  Hey, That's My Fish! championship tournament.

Hey, That's My Fish! is a tense, tactical game of resource management and positioning, where players must execute daring strategies and counter their opponent's moves in order to catch as many fish as possible with their waddle of penguins on a hex-based tile board.

We believe that Hey, That's My Fish! rightly deserves representation at this event as a popular mainstay of FFG's lineup of competitive games.
