Dear Supporter,

Most of the animal lovers who buy pork at Aldi have no idea how Aldi's major pork suppliers treat pigs. If they did, they'd probably find it hard to swallow.

Truth is, Aldi still allows its suppliers to use one of the cruelest practices in animal agriculture: confining mother pigs in tiny “gestation crates” for virtually their entire lives. Naturally active, curious and intelligent animals, pigs in gestation crates cannot walk more than two steps forward or back. Without any mental stimulation, enrichment, or social interaction, they experience profound suffering and trauma, not to mention physical problems like shoulder injuries and even bone damage.

Now you can easily inform friends and family who buy pork at Aldi so they, too, can ask Aldi to finally end this inhumane practice.

All you need to do is share this website on your social media: The Hidden Cost of Aldi Pork. Be sure to use the tags #AldiFinds and #AldiHaul.

This web page not only describes what gestation crates are, but also gives specific actions to push Aldi to do the right thing for the animals they profit from.

As always, thank you for speaking out for the animals that feed us.
