More than 350,000 consumers have urged Aldi to make it a requirement that its pork suppliers eliminate the use of gestation crates. Many of us are writing and calling Aldi to voice our concern about a practice we find objectionable. Yet, Aldi still won't create a public timeline to commit to going 100% crate free.

That's nice, but an expectation falls far short of a REQUIREMENT and a COMMITMENT to a timeline. Aldi, you claim to pay attention to what customers want to see in your stores: I want to see crate free pork!"
