TO: CURRENT RESIDENTS OF VALLEY RIDGE, CALGARY, AB

Alberta Transportation installed a noise wall adjacent to the community’s perimeter fence south of Valley Meadow Close, north of the new TCH off-ramp.  The wall’s height is lower than the adjacent fence and below the elevation of the new off-ramp, so it provides no effective noise or privacy protection.  

This petition requests that Alberta Transportation remove the existing wall and  install a higher barrier/wall along the edge of the new off-ramp into Valley Ridge that would effectively mitigate: traffic noise, loss of privacy, reduced quality of life, exhaust pollution and provide protection from vehicle mishaps.
