The cuts to post secondary institutions should be revoked due to the economic crisis stemming from the corona virus pandemic and the shift to majority online classes for universities and other post secondary institutions. These shifts will use significant funds and are bringing a lower quality education for students who will have to pay more for less. The government should refund schools to ensure the survival of higher education and reduce the elitism that is often tied with raising tuition costs and not raising the quality of education. These cuts make education unecessarily difficult for institutions, prospective and current students alike. It is unjust and unfounded, causing undue stress to those that educate and to the youth of this province.
