Decrease car insurance premiums

So we all know that insurance premiums for males until the age of 25 are exorbitant. I say despite their own statistics, this practice is very discriminatory. I am proposing that at the very minimum, insurance companies should reward good driving habits with a sliding scale premium rate reduction based on your driving history (if you are a good driver with a clean drivers abstract etc). How can insurance companies justify charging these outrageous rates and brand all males under the age of 25 as poor drivers? They need to give those that are responsible drivers the opportunity to prove it and then reduce rates accordingly. I can't accept that these insurance companies have a legitimate explanation to justify their outrageously high rates. I plan to forward this petition to my MLA, the Premier, and the appropriate insurance authorities both provincially and federally.
Thank you for signing my petition. I hope to bring enough attention to this issue to create a much needed change.
