We need to get BACK TO THE TABLE! 

The Government of Alberta has revoked the Master Agreement with Alberta Physicians. They plan to impose changes that will dramatically impact patients and  their families. Vulnerable patients with complex illness or mental health issues will be most disadvantaged. Rural practices are threatened.

Many patients who could be managed by their Family Physician will end up in busy Emergency Departments.  The negative impact on Alberta Health Care will be widespread.

It is not too late for the Minister of Health, Tyler Shandro to pause the changes and get Back to the Table to re-start negotiations. Alberta Physicians share the goals of the Minister and of Government — to ensure that our health system is sustainable, while providing the best possible care to all patients across the province.
