Alberta health services only has two gender options on their albertan health care cards. As a nonbinary individual this is extremely difficult for me and many others to get proper health care. Birth certificates and other legal documents have been changed to have an “other” option but Albertan health care cards have not. I think it’s important to have this change made so transgender/nonbinary individuals can get proper identification for their health care.
