The Alberta College of Social Workers recently increased their membership fees from $350 to $400 without broad member feedback, making it the highest Social Worker Membership Provincial Association fee in the country.  These fees pay for services that members may not utilize but have no option to opt-out of, including the annual conference, the Advocate, and various committees.

We are hoping that the ACSW reconsiders their current membership fee, and asks for input from the larger Alberta Social Worker population.
