Me and many others want to stop Albany Missouri's Breed Specific Legislation against the Pitbull breed! They are now no longer just taking pits, but american bulldogs and other dogs they have no other proof of are pits other then based off of looks alone! Our animal Shelter now has two Purebred Pitbulls! One was found wandering because he had gotten off his chain, and the Shelter picked him up. The Owner did try getting him back but The city has the Shelter refuse to return pits to their original owners if the owners live in town. (do remember it IS NOT the shelter's fault when it comes to removing a dog from it's owner) The City banned pitbulls because of a few bad incedences and because of that fact I don't find it's fair for an entire breed to be banned just because of a few rotten apples!
