Recently, I was looking at state crustaceans. To my dismay, I found that Alaska didn’t have one. I thought that we surely would have! I mean, the king crab and snow crab are pretty important in Alaska! So, I did what any other logical maritime nerd would do. And by that I mean Emailing senate. Though I was pretty indecisive as to which one of the previously mentioned crustaceans  it should be. After about 6 minutes of pondering, I said “you know what? Neither. How about the Thysanoessa Inermis“. I mean, why not? Everyone likes the Thysanoessa Inermis! It’s vital to keeping fish and crabs alive, so again, why not! Thysanoessa Inermis For Alaska state crustacean!
