The struggles of the homeless can be seen all throughout society. Pets provide homeless people with a sense of meaning, unconditional love, a support system, no judgement which have a positive impact on homelessness. Half of homeless people said having a pet saved their lives and the other half said pets gave them a reason to live. Without proper shelter and care both the owners and pets will suffer consequences that could have been easily avoided. This petition is to change the perspective of society and demonstrate the positive effects of homeless people having pets.
