——> MONDAY 8/3 meet at Ruby Meadow at noon to observe the planning commissioner’s site visit. Masks necessary and space out at least 6 feet apart along fence line to show support for the meadow. Their visit will be broadcast via zoom so you do not need to come in person, but I understand several people want to be there and it is a public meeting and you are allowed to be there if you want to be. 

We, as the official appellant, have asked to have a representative included in the site tour with the commissioners, but the planning staff says that Eden Housing has refused to allow any of us to join the official tour. The County says Eden Housing agreed to show where and how big the development will be in 3D real space, which will allow everyone to see the reality of coverage, destruction, and impacts to the adjoining neighborhood. So far, no stakes or markers have been installed, which makes it even more important that all the 87 doomed trees are marked with ribbons.

If you already volunteered to read, I have your name. Don’t forget that everyone at your home can speak or give you their time! We expect 2-3 minutes will be allowed per person.
