With this petition, we are voting on a better grading policy for our Alabama State University Students. The are voting for a grading curve system similar to the one offered at Miles University. We should be allowed a better option than a P or F grade on our transcript. 

Majority of graduate schools do not accept P/F grades on a transcript, so this type of grading policy will effect the students it concerns more harshly. They will be forever to retake classes and pay more money. Most dependent college students will not receive the Government’s Stimulus Check (it’s because we are on campus and if you are older than 17 you are not even considered a dependent to even receive the smaller check) nor will we be refunded our tuition money. 

The main objective of this petition is to not allow Alabama State University’s board of Trustees (and all of who else have a say so) to set us up for failure. The solution to the problem is to fight what they want for us with what’s BEST for us. We need an advocate who speaks for us as a WHOLE. If one student is effected then we all are. We want equality. UNITED WE STAND.
