There are currently two bills pending vote in the Alabama Legislature that will ban the 100% natural herb Kratom. Some irresponsible marketing and use by individuals has threatened this miracle herb that has saved countless lives in the USA or given them their quality of life back. This bill will force many Alabamians to return to deadly and highly addictive prescription opiate drugs which kill nearly 14,000 Americans a year. Kratom on the other hand has an excellent safety record when used responsibly as most Kratom users do. Please, get the word out through this petition to vote no on HB175 and SB226. If either of these bills reach the governor's desk, we respectfully ask Governor Bentley to use his veto power to stop them. Adults should have the right to choose Kratom!
