Kasandra Davidson started this petition to Alabama and

My name is Cordarrious White i’ve been in the Alabama Department of corrections since 2009 I was sentenced to 25 years for a murder, burglary , and kidnapping (I was charged with murder because I was the driver there was a high-speed chase and I couldn’t get involuntary manslaughter or anything of that nature for that reason )here is my story.
In 2009 I was only 20 years old some of the charges were not mine they belong to my codefendants(Stringer burglaries kidnapping I have nothing to do with these were the charges my codefendants had to because we were all together I got them as well) but listening to my attorney I took a plea being 20 and afraid I did whatever my attorney said. I was sentenced by judge Gloria Bahakel , Who had a history of over sentencing and some other things which caused her to be removed and not reelected.
While incarcerated I took every class I could. I learned the prison save my life because it taught me how to be a man in so many ways. I took pride in everything I did from the jobs in here and trying to motivate others. In 2015 while incarcerated I was attacked and in defending myself that other inmate was stabbed with his weapon I did over a year in the whole for protecting myself.
That person was released in 2019 and file charges so I ended up with a free world assault charge. The attorney for that case told me there’s no way you can win take the plea of being guilty and getting three years mind you neither Attorney ever went over my discovery with me. I came up for parole in 2017 The brother to the victim who died came to that hearing and stated he felt I served my time it was an accident, because we were being chased by an officer who was in his own personal vehicle and never identified his self and his car hitting our car causes us to collide with that victim  and was  pushed back 2 years because of the incident in 2015.
So when 2019 came I never went back up to  2020 came I never went back up then I was advised there was a miscalculation when they were getting me ready for my parole hearing in 2019 so they moved me to 2024 I ever received documentation for anything for that hearing nor a miscalculation that’s seven years from my last parole hearing.
I have a wife children, a son who is nonverbal autistic my wife has been in a car accident can no longer work. I am not the 20-year-old kid that I was in 2009 I have a job waiting for me I have a family waiting for me I have a very large support system in church and out of church I’m just asking that everyone who reads this petition please sign because I’m no danger to society nor properties in any state. I believe I deserve a chance to show that I can be a productive part of society as an adult. Thank you all so much for listening to my story.
