The methods/procedures that are being used by AKTU to check exam answer sheets are clearly very inefficient. It takes a very long time to produce the result and even then the marks that students obtain are highly unsatisfactory.

AKTU then requires students to apply for re-evaluation which costs no less than RS.2500 and even if there is some increment in the Marks no refund is done and the re-evaluated marks take a very long to be declared, making it very hard for the students to decided whether they need to prepare for the exams again.

In the following semester it has also been observed that students who usually score very high marks suffer from backs which was clearly due some sort of checking mistake causing a decrement in the overall morale of each and every student, as the normal, average and below average students begin to expect a very low score.

For the passed out students it is an even greater problem because they need to wait for more months to clear their backs by re-evaluation.

The re-evaluation system is also so inefficient that most of the students are not able to get satisfactory results and many still suffer from the existing backs that they have. This causes many students to still give the carry over exams causing more problems due to their running semester exams.

The loss of money these students face is yet a huge problem and there must be some sort of refund.

We request the AKTU to make some changes in the methods or procedures they use to check the exam answer sheets so that the deserving students do not face problems due to low marks. There must be some necessary changes made to the checking scheme.
