Thank you everyone for taking the time to support the righting of this wrong!  Several articles have been written about this campaign including one coming up in the Ajax Advertiser. Local support is so important. However, this shameful honouring of the Nazi Captain Langsdorff is not just a local story. From Canada to Germany there is agreement that this man supported the Nazi cause. Our petition is closing in on 500 and I strongly encourage everyone to try to share the link www.change.org/nazistreet  and please send an email to Mayor Shaun Collier at shaun.collier@ajax.ca .  For us to make this change happen it will take efforts from residents of Langsdorff Drive to pressure from those who oppose the honouring of Nazis around the world.
