Mr Andrew Haines, Chief Executive of the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has sent me a 2 page letter and as a direct result from our campaign they are now writing to EVERY airport in the UK regarding the handling of insulin pumps at security. Addtionally, the CAA are updating their website in the next few days and are liaising with the Department for Transport as they work with authorities overseas to see if we can encourage other countries to follow suit.
