I am left with no option but to take my case to the courts and follow the legal procedure to get justice from Air India. How can they say that they are not responsible for the damage they caused to my Sitar when it was in their custody? Hiding behind some stupid rules does not absolve them from the truth that my Sitar was damaged when it was in their custody and it is the moral duty and rule to own up and pay for the damages. No---maybe this is too much to expect from an industry that is not concerned about musicians and their precious instruments. No wonder that Air India is in the markets, ready to go to the highest bidder!
