So, after serious social media posts and a leading newspaper covering my story and my petition being signed by thousands of people from all over the world, Jet Airways finally deploys their "Manager – Baggage Services (Central Baggage Unit)" to negotiate with me. After some smooth talking and giving me the impression that she understood my predicament and was sympathetic to my cause, she mails me back with a ridiculous offer---less than 50% of what I said it would cost me to buy a new instrument!!! Does Jet Airways think that I should buy half an instrument??? Can it get any worse? Yes--it does. The lady even asks me to "accept the offer in the spirit that it is being made" and "to close the matter amicably."

I take great pleasure in announcing that I have rejected their 'generous offer' and my fight against these airlines continues. Its not about a small bit of money that they will offer but against a cause I sincerely believe in and something that is fundamentally wrong.
