During the COVID 19 global epidemic many people were abroad in countries away from home. The ever changing regulations and misinformation regarding airport closures and government policies regarding flights in or out of countries meant millions of people were unable to travel home. People desperately tried to book flights to get home spending thousands of pounds on what they thought were ‘last chance’ flights to get them home. Some of these flights were cancelled due to aviation authorities in either country in an attempt to try stop the spread of the virus. The money spent by innocent consumers attempting to get home must be returned to them in full as they bought these tickets (sometimes at inflated prices) for the sole purpose of getting home and being able to isolate in their own country. Airlines will profit from this and consumers will be thousands of pounds out of pocket for completely unfair circumstances. WE DEMAND FULL REFUNDS.
