I Spoke with Air India's Customer Care Executive on 26th October 2025 and Booked 3 Premium Economy Tickets because of Extra Leg Room and because I can travel comfortably with My Pet Cat. I called Air India's Customer Care on 7th November 2025 and I was Told I cannot Travel with My Pet in Premium Economy or Business class as their Pet Policy changed from 1st November 2025. Air India Customer Care had not informed Me about any Such thing and had Just told to inform the Airline 72 Hours before My Travel for Booking for Cat Reservation. How will anyone know if their Pet Policy changed on 1st November, 2025. Now I had to cancel My Premium Economy Booking and Book an Economy Class Ticket to Book a Pet Ticket. They did not give any refund for My Premium Economy Class and I had to Book another Economy class ticket. I have an Important Family Wedding to attend and I Really Need Some Help as they Should have ideally refunded for the Cancelled Premium Economy Class. They did not even replace it with Economy as they can't downgrade a ticket. I was misinformed and misguided by them. People who used to travel in Business Class with their Cute Little pets will be surely surprised to know this that they can't travel with their pets. And this is just a class discrimination done by Air India in this New age. This policy is a shame to people who believe in Equality in All classes. Don't think Mr. Ratan Tata who was such a Pet Loving Person would have envisioned his Airline to be running like this. Pet travel should be made friendly and easy like in other foreign countries. We are New India and I wish the word India be removed from Air India as they just ruining the name of our country with All the crashes, bad class discriminating policies, poor service, delays and what not!!!
