After hearing the awful news that is happening lately with the increasing child suicidal rates there should be restrictions on the age certain social media apps can be opened.

Snapchat being the main cause for concern there are children bullying other children excessively and it instantly disappears from the screen but stays forever with the child.

Social media paints an unrealistic image in a child’s mind and they can never escape a bully’s grasps until it is too late.

I have started this petition with the hopes to possibly get enough signatures so that a Snapchat account can not be opened until the person is of the age to open a bank account, I am raising a young child and would be beyond heartbroken and devastated if this were to happen to my family.

Bullying is not a joke it is not fun and something needs to be in place to protect our children in the future
