Against New Facebook Pages On 30 March 2012

Petition: Against New Facebook Pages

On 30 March 2012, all Facebook Pages will get a new design. We have previewed our pages now to see what it looked like and tried out the new features.
We would like that facebook to withdraw this action because it will spoil our work on our pages. Furthermore, we have decided to clarify you the reasons why we do not like facebook to take this action. There is an interesting quote “If it is not broken, do not fix it”. Therefore, we wish that facebook respect our demands.

1-According to our surveys and petitions on facebook users almost all of them hated the new layout of facebook and preferred the old one.
2-The audience of our pages hated it the new layout.
3-We prefer the old layout of facebook because it is easy, simple and quick.
4-The new is more complicated and annoying for us when we show it especially we come from countries that the Internet Service is slow.
5-The new way of showing the information is complicated for us. Also, It looks more complicated when you adjusted your setting to avoid downloading pictures.
6-The new method is confusing for us when we like to obtain the information presented.
7-Our facebook users stated that they hated this new layout so they will stop doing (Like) on our posts.
We hope all of you communicate with facebook management and administration to stop this action. Also, we wish to first thank Mr. Mark Zuckerberg for his efforts at Facebook then fulfill our demands. As we believe ignoring facebook users and opinions will spoil your service. “Customers always right”, we also wish that other people manage to create another alternative service for us when facebook takes this step and ignore our demand to keep the old version of facebook.

Best Regards,

Facebook Users
