With the recent outbreak of COVID-19 many people attending festivals have been affected heavily. People have lost jobs, aren’t able to work due to lockdowns and have had travel restrictions imposed on them by governments. There are also people traveling from far away who have had to cancel their flights.

Aside from that festival goers are scared and fear being in a crowded environment will compromise their health. Especially with the uncertainty and when there is no cure or vaccine available in the foreseeable future.

We are pleading with the organisers of festivals like Afronation to allow ticket buyers affected by factors caused by COVID-19 to be refunded.

Larger events such as Coachella and the Olympics for instance, have been cancelled and people have been refunded. We ask that these festivals follow suit and put their festival goers first.
