You have, well how did you feel when he flew for the first time, well the joy and happiness you feel for this little elephant is why you could never sit and just let him be killed or let his family get slaughtered so why do you let other elephants get slaughtered. When you just sit back and ignore what’s really happening it's like saying you don’t care. 

Ivory-seeking poachers have killed 100,000 African elephants in just three years, according to a new study that provides the first reliable continent-wide estimates of illegal kills. During 2011 alone, roughly one of every twelve African elephants were killed by poachers.
