As African Americans we don't have many physical symbols that represent us in America. Every other nationality of people can proudly display their cultures flag on their social media platform bios or on their countries unique Independence Day. However, there is not one for African Americans. I discovered this as I was looking for the flag to post on my Instagram bio. I wanted to display how proud I was to not just be American, but African American. A very rare and strong breed of people. I just want to be able to proudly display who I am just like everyone else.
