I'm just a 17 year old girl from Victoria, that loves football, and with the introduction of the women's league, I've felt more connected to the game then ever.

Today the news came out that the AFL planned to shorten the season, with the introduction of 2 new teams. The season is currently an 8 week season, where everyone plays each other once and a grand final. The AFL wants to shorten the season. Which is not the solution. as an 8 week season is short enough already.

To devlop the season, it needs to be extended, how about we move the season to October/ November, So we won't have to worry about it clashing with tennis or cricket. Sure it's not a perfect solution, but it's better then making a game where the pre season and training will go longer then the actual season it's self.
