Political Representation and Disqualification of Hazara Leadership in Afghan Government

Political Representation and Disqualification of Hazara Leadership in Afghan Government
The issue
Continued failure of the Afghan government to assume responsibility for the Targeted Killing of Hazaras, and lack of accountability in security lapses is often deflected through false pretense of political representation. The latest attack on Sayed Ul-Shuhada School where as many as 85 people including many schoolgirls were killed in an attack this weekend, should break anyone’s heart. We the Hazaras of Afghanistan Unequivocally Reject the symbolic presence of the Sarwar Danesh, the Second Vice President and the incompetent counselors. The continued presence of these profiteers are often used as strong tool of Identity-Politics in downplaying the plight of Hazara people.
We, the Hazara people of Afghanistan, endorse this petition to formally register our dissatisfaction, and demand resignation of Mr. Sarwar Danesh and Mr. Mohaqiq Khalili from government on the basis of incompetence and inability to perform their duties to us the citizens.
Lack of Political Accountability from these two Hazara representative is in conflict with the core of social trust and social-contract. The signatures on this petition document that we no longer recognize them as political leaders or political-representatives of us, the Hazaras of Afghanistan.
