I am starting this petition for a demand of affordable vet care in Connecticut. I see so many people struggling as it is with inflation and trying to care for their pet even the simplest things let alone anything major or an emergency will put them in debt for years. That's even if they have good credit or money to do so if not a vet will tell you to take your animal home and watch them die. Yet people in Connecticut can be arrested and charged with animal cruelty for not caring for an animal. Make it make sense if that can happen why not charge a vet for telling you if you can't pay us thousands of dollars to save your pet which is possible then take it home to die.
