Dear Advocates,

We are writing to you today to draw your attention to the urgent need for passing the Maharashtra Advocate Protection Act / Advocates Protection Act. We have witnessed many cases where advocates have been attacked by either goons or police officers in recent times. Some of the notable examples are Adv Satyadev Joshi, Amit Mishra, Adv Prithaviraj Jhala, Adv Pooja Kamble, Adv Chavan - Pune, Adv Deshmukh- Yavatmal, Adv Ram Manohar Khatavkar - Satara, Adv Kirti Dabir, Adv Mohite - Osmanabad, and others.

We cannot allow such incidents to continue. Advocates are an integral part of our justice system, and they should be allowed to carry out their duties without any fear or intimidation. The passing of the Maharashtra Advocate Protection Act / Advocates Protection Act is crucial to ensure the safety and security of advocates in our state.

We appeal to all advocates to come together and sign the online signature campaign for the immediate passing of the Maharashtra Advocate Protection Act / Advocates Protection Act. This act will provide necessary protections for advocates and ensure that those who attack advocates are punished accordingly.

We would like to thanks Team AIFAA for their efforts in working towards the passing of this act. However, we need the support of all advocates to make this a reality.

Let us come together and demand the immediate passing of the Maharashtra Advocate Protection Act / Advocates Protection Act. It is time to stand up for the safety and security of our fellow advocates.
