This petition advocates for these privileged few to voluntarily give up their police escorts and cease the use of sirens that result in traffic being stopped for their convenience.

Accentuating the division between 'us' and 'them' in this era of striving for equality doesn't seem right. Even after 75 years of independence India 's ruling class unfortunately likes to continue with this feudal practice .

A comparison of global norms reveals that in numerous developed nations, siren usage is strictly regulated, and disrupting normal traffic flow for VIP movement is rarely practised. A self-regulated discipline by VIPs could bring about a massive change, shifting our country towards a more egalitarian society.
