At the May 16th Labor-Management meeting, UUP Oneonta presented administration with an advocacy document for a 3/3 (18 credit-hour) standard teaching load across the university for tenure and tenure-track faculty. UUP Oneonta believes now is the time to return to the six course per-year teaching obligation that was once the norm at the university. Management has accepted this proposition in good faith and has agreed that the 3/3 load concept is best integrated into broader ongoing discussions with UUP about compensation.
